Monthly Gatherings

UUBN, Fell Room, 7pm

Every Second Wednesday

Monthly Meetings Every Second Wednesday - 7pm at UUBN

Many Paths gathers monthly to build community, share ideas, and explore both theistic and non-theistic spirituality in a welcoming and inclusive environment. These meetings serve as the foundation of our chapter, providing opportunities for members and newcomers alike to connect with others who share an interest in Pagan, polytheistic, animist, witchcraft, nature-centered traditions, and other living practices.

Join us monthly for group discussions about magic and practice, to become part of our rituals and community events, to learn from our guest speakers, and join the conversation around our community engagements.

Whether you have practiced for decades or are simply curious and looking for a place to begin, our meetings offer a relaxed space to learn, ask questions, share experiences, and develop meaningful connections within the Bloomington-Normal spiritual community.

No prior experience or specific spiritual path is required. We welcome people from many traditions, as well as those who are still exploring where their path may lead.

Community Rituals

Ritual rehearsals are held the Saturday before ritual.

Throughout the year, Many Paths hosts public and community-centered rituals celebrating the changing seasons and the sacred rhythms of the natural world. Our Wheel celebrations may include devotional observances, seasonal ceremonies and offerings, storytelling, music, or other ritual practices drawn from a variety of practices and traditions.

Our rituals are designed to be accessible while honoring the diversity of beliefs represented within our community. Some rituals focus on shared themes of seasonal change and renewal, while others may explore specific deities, cultural traditions, or spiritual practices. Participants are invited to engage at their own comfort level, whether actively participating or simply observing and learning.

Our rituals provide opportunities to celebrate together, deepen spiritual practice, and experience the power of gathering in sacred space with others who value connection to nature, community, and the divine.

All community rituals are sober, LGBTQ+ friendly, and open to practitioners of all levels.

Don’t see a celebration on the list? Check out our sister chapter, Keepers of the Great Grove!

Education is a cornerstone of Many Paths. Throughout the year, we offer workshops that explore a wide range of spiritual, magical, historical, and mythological topics. These events provide opportunities to learn from experienced practitioners, engage in thoughtful discussion, gain practical knowledge, and walk away with information or even magiccraft that participants can apply to their own spiritual journeys.

Workshop topics vary widely and may include deity-focused studies, mythology, ritual design, devotional practices, meditation, divination, magical techniques, folklore, spiritual history, seasonal traditions, and other subjects of interest to the Pagan community. Past workshops have explored figures such as Aphrodite, Persephone, and King Paimon, examining their historical origins, symbolism, cultural context, and contemporary devotional practices; or even Tarot, wherein we explored the Major and Minor Arcana, common card symbolism, basic reading techniques, and practical approaches to developing a personal relationship with the deck. Participants had opportunities to practice simple spreads, discuss interpretations, and gain confidence in reading for themselves and others.

Our workshops are intended to encourage exploration rather than prescribe belief. Participants are welcome to bring questions, share perspectives, and engage with ideas from many different spiritual paths and traditions.
